Pricing FAQ

Questions, answered

Licenses, sites, upgrades, trials and refunds - everything you might want to know before buying.

That depends on the license you pick. Every premium plan - Restrict for WordPress, Restrict for Elementor and the Restrict Bundle - is available for 1 site, 5 sites or unlimited sites, so you only pay for what you actually need. Upgrading to a bigger license later is always possible from your account.

Restrict for WordPress protects posts, pages, categories, widgets, menus and partial content in any WordPress theme. Restrict for Elementor controls the visibility of Elementor sections, columns and widgets. The Bundle includes both plugins at a reduced price and is the best value if you build with Elementor.

Yearly plans renew once a year and include updates and premium support for as long as the subscription is active. Lifetime plans are a one-time payment - you own the plugin forever, including all future updates, with no renewals to think about. Both are available for 1, 5 and unlimited sites.

On a multisite network, every subsite counts as one site - a 1-site license covers a single subsite, and a 5-site license covers up to five subsites. If you run a larger network, the unlimited license is the best choice: it covers the entire multisite installation, no matter how many subsites you add later.

Yes. Every plan starts with a 7-day free trial so you can test Restrict on your own site, and each purchase is additionally protected by a 7-day no-questions-asked money-back guarantee.

We firmly stand behind Restrict plugins. If you are not satisfied, request a refund within 7 days of the original purchase date and we will issue a 100% refund - no questions asked.

Absolutely. You can upgrade your license at any time from your account dashboard and you will only pay the difference. Your existing restrictions and settings carry over automatically.

Yes. Free versions of Restrict for WordPress and Restrict for Elementor are available on WordPress.org. Premium plans add advanced integrations, whitelabeling, Site Shield and priority support - with yearly or lifetime licenses for 1, 5 or unlimited sites.

Yes, we do! The Restrict refund policy is simple: if you’re not satisfied with Restrict for WordPress and/or Restrict for Elementor in any way, we’ll refund your latest payment — no questions asked. This page explains exactly how the guarantee works and how to claim it.

The 7-day money-back guarantee

Every Restrict plan — whether it’s Restrict for WordPress, Restrict for Elementor or the Restrict Bundle, on yearly or lifetime billing — is covered by a 7-day, no-questions-asked money-back guarantee. If you request a refund within 7 days of your payment, we will refund that payment in full.

How to request a refund

Just reach out through our contact page within 7 days of the payment and let us know you’d like a refund. That’s it — there are no forms to fill out and no conditions to meet. The guarantee applies to your latest payment, so it covers brand-new purchases as well as recent renewals.

Feedback is welcome (but never required)

It would be helpful if you could give us a little insight into why you decided not to use Restrict, and to let us help if you ran into any problems with the product — many issues turn out to have quick fixes. That said, you’re not obliged to do any of this. We will refund your most recent payment even if you choose not to provide any explanation at all.

Try before you pay anything

You may not need a refund at all: every plan also includes a 7-day free trial, so you can test the premium features on your own site — with your own theme and plugins — before spending a cent. Both plugins also have free versions on WordPress.org if you’d like to start even smaller. See all plans on our pricing page.

Related documentation

Thinking about what you’d lose if you decide not to renew your Restrict license? Here’s the honest, complete answer for both Restrict for WordPress and Restrict for Elementor — including the one case where renewal never comes up at all.

What stops working when a yearly license expires

Once your yearly license expires and you decide not to renew it, all of the premium features will stop working. You also won’t receive any further updates, and you’ll no longer have access to premium support.

What keeps working

Your website won’t break. You will still have the set of features available in the free versions of Restrict and Restrict for Elementor, which you can keep using for as long as you like. In other words, an expired license takes you back to the free feature set — nothing more dramatic than that.

Lifetime licenses never expire

This whole question only applies to yearly subscriptions. If you purchased a one-time lifetime license, there is nothing to renew: it never expires, and you keep the premium features, updates and support forever with no recurring payments.

Deciding whether to renew

Renewing keeps your premium features active and ensures the plugin stays up to date with new WordPress releases and with integrations like WooCommerce, Easy Digital Downloads and Tickera. If you’d rather not think about renewals again, you can switch to a lifetime license — upgrades can be made at any time from your account dashboard, and you only pay the difference. Current plans and prices (1 site, 5 sites or unlimited sites) are listed on the pricing page.

Not sure what’s best for your situation? Feel free to contact us and we’ll help you figure it out.

Related documentation

Wondering whether buying Restrict for WordPress or Restrict for Elementor locks you into a long-term contract? It doesn’t. You can cancel your Restrict subscription at any time, for any reason, directly from your account panel — no phone calls and no hoops to jump through.

How to cancel your Restrict subscription

If you ever decide that Restrict for WordPress and/or Restrict for Elementor isn’t the best fit for your business, simply log in to your account panel and cancel your account from there. You stay in full control of your billing at all times.

What happens after you cancel

Cancelling stops your yearly subscription from renewing, so you won’t be charged again. Once your current license expires, the premium features stop working and you’ll no longer receive updates or premium support.

The features included in the free versions of Restrict for WordPress and Restrict for Elementor remain available, so your website won’t break — you simply lose access to the premium functionality. You can find more details in What happens if I don’t renew my license?

What about lifetime licenses?

If you purchased a one-time lifetime license, there is no subscription to cancel in the first place. Lifetime licenses never renew and never expire, so there are no recurring payments to worry about.

Changed your mind shortly after buying?

Every Restrict plan comes with a 7-day free trial and a 7-day no-questions-asked money-back guarantee. If you cancel within 7 days of a payment, you can also request a full refund.

And if there’s a problem we could help fix before you go, feel free to reach out through our contact page — we’d love the chance to make things right, though you’re under no obligation to explain your decision.

Related documentation

Absolutely! Nothing about your Restrict license is set in stone. You can upgrade or downgrade your Restrict plan at any time — whether you started with Restrict for WordPress, Restrict for Elementor or the Restrict Bundle. This page explains how plan changes work and what they cost.

Upgrading your plan

You can upgrade at any time straight from your account dashboard, and you only pay the difference between your current plan and the new one — you never pay twice for the same period. Common upgrade paths include:

  • Moving from a 1 site license to a 5 sites or unlimited sites license as your business grows.
  • Switching from a yearly subscription to a one-time lifetime license so you never have to renew again.
  • Adding the second plugin by moving up to the Restrict Bundle, which includes both Restrict for WordPress and Restrict for Elementor under one license key with priority support.

If you already own a Restrict for WordPress premium license and want to upgrade to the Bundle to get Restrict for Elementor as well, please contact us and we’ll sort it out for you.

Downgrading your plan

Downgrades work the same way: if you find you no longer need as many sites as your current license covers, you can switch to a smaller plan at any time from your account dashboard.

Which plans are available?

Every plan — Restrict for WordPress, Restrict for Elementor and the Restrict Bundle — is available as a 1 site, 5 sites or unlimited sites license, billed either yearly or as a one-time lifetime payment. You can compare all current plans and prices on our pricing page.

Not sure which plan to pick?

Don’t overthink it. Since you can change your plan later on and every plan includes a 7-day free trial plus a 7-day money-back guarantee, it’s safe to start small and upgrade once you know exactly what you need.

Accepted payment methods

We accept all major credit cards, as well as PayPal:

  • Visa
  • Mastercard
  • American Express
  • PayPal

Currency

All prices for Restrict licenses are listed and charged in USD. If your card or PayPal account uses a different currency, your payment provider will convert the amount at its own exchange rate.

How billing works

Every plan — Restrict for WordPress, Restrict for Elementor and the Restrict Bundle — is available in two billing models:

  • Yearly subscription — renews annually and includes updates and premium support while active. You can cancel at any time from your account panel.
  • One-time lifetime payment — a single payment with no renewals, ever.

Each option is offered as a 1 site, 5 sites or unlimited sites license, starting at $39/year for a single site. And if you start with a yearly plan but later decide you’d rather pay once and be done, you can upgrade to a lifetime license at any time and pay only the difference.

Risk-free by design

Every plan includes a 7-day free trial, and each payment is covered by a 7-day no-questions-asked money-back guarantee. So if Restrict turns out not to be the right fit, you can simply request a refund of your latest payment.

Questions about payment?

Related documentation

Yes! Every premium license includes automatic Restrict plugin updates for both Restrict for WordPress and Restrict for Elementor. This page explains exactly how long you’ll keep receiving updates depending on the type of license you choose.

Updates with a yearly license

If you’re on a yearly subscription, automatic updates are available for as long as you stay our paying customer. While your license is active you get every new version we release — new features, improvements, bug fixes and compatibility updates — along with premium support.

Updates with a lifetime license

If you purchased a one-time lifetime license, you receive updates forever. There are no renewals and no recurring payments — you pay once and keep getting every future version of the plugin.

Why updates matter

WordPress itself evolves constantly, and so do the plugins Restrict integrates with, such as WooCommerce, Easy Digital Downloads, Tickera and the Elementor page builder. Regular Restrict plugin updates keep your content restriction setup working smoothly as the rest of your stack moves forward, and ensure you benefit from new features as soon as they ship.

What happens if my license expires?

If your yearly license expires and you decide not to renew it, you will no longer receive updates or premium support, and the premium features will stop working. The features available in the free versions of Restrict and Restrict for Elementor will keep working. Lifetime licenses never expire, so this doesn’t apply to them. You can read the full details in What happens if I don’t renew my license?

Which license should I choose?

Both options include the same plugin functionality — the difference is simply how long updates and support last. Every plan (1 site, 5 sites or unlimited sites) is available with either yearly or lifetime billing, and all of them come with a 7-day free trial and a 7-day money-back guarantee. Compare the options on our pricing page.

Yes! Top-notch customer support is key to a quality product, so Restrict plugin support is included with every premium license of Restrict for WordPress and Restrict for Elementor. We’ll do our very best to resolve any issue you might encounter and to answer any question you might have.

Who is behind the support?

Restrict is made by the Tickera team, so when you open a ticket you’re talking to the same people who build and maintain the plugins — not an outsourced help desk. That means faster, more accurate answers, whether your question is about a setting, a conflict with another plugin, or how to achieve a specific content restriction setup.

How to get help

  1. Search the documentation. Our documentation covers installation, shortcodes, integrations and common use cases — from restricting pages, posts and categories to controlling menu items and widgets — so many questions are answered there in minutes.
  2. Contact us. If you can’t find what you need, reach out through the contact page and describe your issue — the more detail you can share about your setup, the faster we can help. Our support agents will do their best to sort it out in the shortest time possible.

Pre-sale questions are welcome too

You don’t need to be a customer to talk to us. If you’re still deciding whether Restrict fits your project, ask away — we’re happy to help before you buy. See also I have other pre-sale questions, can you help?

How long does support last?

Premium support is included for as long as your license is active: for the duration of your yearly subscription, or forever with a one-time lifetime license. The Restrict Bundle even comes with priority support. If a yearly license expires without renewal, premium support (and updates) stop until you renew. Compare plans on our pricing page.
