Do I Get Updates for the Premium Plugin?

Yes! Every premium license includes automatic Restrict plugin updates for both Restrict for WordPress and Restrict for Elementor. This page explains exactly how long you’ll keep receiving updates depending on the type of license you choose.

Updates with a yearly license

If you’re on a yearly subscription, automatic updates are available for as long as you stay our paying customer. While your license is active you get every new version we release — new features, improvements, bug fixes and compatibility updates — along with premium support.

Updates with a lifetime license

If you purchased a one-time lifetime license, you receive updates forever. There are no renewals and no recurring payments — you pay once and keep getting every future version of the plugin.

Why updates matter

WordPress itself evolves constantly, and so do the plugins Restrict integrates with, such as WooCommerce, Easy Digital Downloads, Tickera and the Elementor page builder. Regular Restrict plugin updates keep your content restriction setup working smoothly as the rest of your stack moves forward, and ensure you benefit from new features as soon as they ship.

What happens if my license expires?

If your yearly license expires and you decide not to renew it, you will no longer receive updates or premium support, and the premium features will stop working. The features available in the free versions of Restrict and Restrict for Elementor will keep working. Lifetime licenses never expire, so this doesn’t apply to them. You can read the full details in What happens if I don’t renew my license?

Which license should I choose?

Both options include the same plugin functionality — the difference is simply how long updates and support last. Every plan (1 site, 5 sites or unlimited sites) is available with either yearly or lifetime billing, and all of them come with a 7-day free trial and a 7-day money-back guarantee.
