If you built your WooCommerce store with Elementor, you can show Elementor content to WooCommerce customers only — and hide it from everyone else. Restrict for Elementor adds WooCommerce-specific visibility conditions to every Elementor section, column and widget, so you can reveal thank-you messages, coupon codes or paid material based on what a visitor has actually purchased. In this guide you will learn where to find these conditions and what each of the four options does.
What you need before you start
- WooCommerce installed and activated on your website. The WooCommerce condition only appears in the dropdown when WooCommerce is active.
- Restrict for Elementor installed and activated. New to the plugin? The quickstart guide walks you through installation and the basics in a few minutes.
- Elementor page builder, since all visibility rules are applied right inside the Elementor editor.
- Optional: the WooCommerce Subscriptions plugin, if you want to restrict content to users with an active subscription.
How to show Elementor content to WooCommerce customers
- Edit the page with Elementor and select the section, column or widget you want to restrict.
- In the Content area of that element, you will find the option to show or hide the element using Restrict for Elementor.
- Select WooCommerce users from the dropdown menu.
- A new dropdown menu will be revealed, labeled Who: — it indicates whom this content should be available to, and it offers four options.
- Pick the option that matches your goal (each one is explained below), then save the page.
The four WooCommerce visibility conditions
Purchased any product
This condition shows or hides the content to users who purchased any product through WooCommerce on your website. It comes in helpful when you want to show appreciation to your customers with a simple Thank you for being our customer message, or when you want to give your existing customers a coupon code for their next purchase.

Purchased specific product
When this option is selected, a new field is revealed where you choose the exact product a user must have previously purchased for the content to be shown or hidden. This is a simple way to sell access to content: if you have paid content on your website, create a WooCommerce product that acts as the “ticket” to access it, and only customers who bought that product will see the restricted element.

Purchased specific product variation
This one is useful if you are selling variable WooCommerce products. Once selected, you can pick a particular variation in the field that appears and make it the criterion for showing or hiding the content. For example, you can place several sections on the same page, each requiring a different product variation to be accessed. That way, a single page can display different content depending on which product variation a visitor has purchased.

Has an active subscription
This option only appears if you have the WooCommerce Subscriptions plugin installed. Select which subscription product is required, and Restrict for Elementor will check whether the current user has an active subscription with that product before showing or hiding the content. This is very helpful if you run online courses or a membership site and require users to keep an active subscription in order to access the paid content on your website.

Show alternative content to everyone else
Regardless of which of these criteria you choose, you do not have to leave non-matching visitors with an empty space. Restrict for Elementor can display alternative content — a login prompt, a short product pitch or an add-to-cart button, for example — to users who do not fulfill the required criteria. See the displaying alternative content guide for a full walkthrough.
